Druk Wangyel Festival.

The Druk Wangyel festival is a very unique festival in Bhutan and is performed by the Royal Bhutan Army. This event is a tribute to the wise leadership of His Majesty the King, Jigme Singye Wangchuck. It is also to celebrate efforts of the Royal Bhutan Army in protecting the sovereignty and stability of the country. This festival is performed at the beautiful Dochu la pass with 108 well arranged stupas. You can also relax and enjoy the stunning view of the Himalayan Mountains in the north.

Day 2. Thimphu Sightseeing.

Day 3.Thimphu – Punakha (Druk Wangyal festival) 76 Km, 3 hrs drive).

Day 4. Punakha sightseeing.

Day 5. Punakha –Wangdiphodrang – Paro: (Altitude 2280 m, Distance 132 km, Drive Time 4 hours).

Day 6. Gangtey – Paro (170 kms. 4 hrs drive).

Day 7. Paro Sightseeing – Hike to the Tiger’s Nest.

Day 8. Depart Paro.
