Your Bhutan visa applications are submitted and processed by the local Bhutan tour operator with the immigration department in Thimphu, Bhutan. You should obtain e-Bhutan visa prior to your travel to Bhutan.
The procedure to obtain e-Bhutan visa for Canadian citizens is simple. After you have paid to your for the package tour, you have to send us a scanned copy of the photo page of your passport.

If you live in the east coast of Canada, you have to fly to New Delhi. There is flight from New Delhi to Bhutan (Paro International airport) on daily basis. For those traveling to Bhutan from west coast of Canada, you have to fly to Bangkok, Thailand. You can then connect your flight to Bhutan.
