Jambay lhakhang Drup festival 2024 in Bhutan is a very famous event in Bhutan and is held at the 7th century old Jambay lhakhang. Afternoon, visit the Ta dzong, the national museum of Bhutan built in the year 1649. Then visit Rinpung dzong built in 1646 by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal.

– Tamshing lhakhang which literally means “The temple of the good message”, established in 1501 by Pema Lingpa (1450-1521).
– Kurjey lhakhang built in the 8th century where the body print of the Guru Rinpoche can still be seen on the rock housed in this temple.

In the evening, free to stroll in the town.

Evening, drive back to Bumthang.
